Some new work, shows, and articles

Apparently, posting every few months or so here has become a thing for me.  I'll say it again- time seems to be flying by fast...
So.. these aren't exactly in any specific order, but here are a few new things since I last posted a few months ago:

Courage Is A Shapeshifter - 10 x 10", oil on panel

I painted this painting while in our booth at San Diego ComicCon in July, which is a lot of fun because I get to talk with people who come up to ask about the painting and process while I'm painting.

Speaking of San Diego ComicCon, we had another great year in our booth there.  This time, also including Sean Murray as we have for a few years now, and Allen Panakal joined us this year too.  Ron gave a few awesome lectures again this year, and I joined a panel about Artists as Entrepreneurs with Greg Spalenka and several other artists.

New painting:

Time Will Tell - oil on canvas, 16 x 20"

This painting was for the Time group show at Haven Gallery in NY in May/June, and now will be showing in the ASFA group show Infinite Worlds: The Art Of The Fantastic opening in November in Austin, TX.
